He is called as Master Moshai, the most respected, influential and one of the father figure of 20th century Indian art. Who had a mission to re-establish the cultural and traditional values of Indian people, who wanted to bring back the identity of Indian art. Nand lal Bose along with his teacher Abanindra nath Tagore and many other artists started a movement which is called as renaissance of Indian art . He was a great teacher who produced great artists ....like Ram kinkar Baij , K. G Subramanim and many others who are notable in Indian art practice. He was a master of portraying people of his time, has a great sense of design and was a great illustrator.
